Sentimental Fools
Weddings
Ali and Jim wanted a wedding that felt like a true gathering. Not a production. Not a spectacle. Just their people, in rooms that already had character, celebrating without pressure.
They were married at La Cuchara in early October, when Baltimore still holds a little warmth but the air starts to shift. Guests gathered close as they exchanged vows, surrounded by florals from Pomona Floral that felt natural and unfussy. The ceremony was simple and meaningful. Nothing overdone.
Afterward, everyone moved to Swan House at Hotel Ulysses for dinner and a long night of celebrating. Draping and candlelight softened the space, giving it depth without overwhelming it. The design supported the mood instead of competing with it.
Dinner turned into dancing quickly. DJ Justjuwit built a floor that stayed full, the kind where friends and family mix easily and no one wants to call it. It felt relaxed. Joyful. Unforced.
Tia Bustanoby documented the day as it unfolded. Real moments. Real reactions. The kind of images that will feel even more meaningful with time.
Two iconic Baltimore spaces. One very grounded, very happy couple. A wedding that felt like them from beginning to end.
