effie & bryant | Baltimore, MD wedding

Sentimental Fools Events planned a vibrant, technicolor wedding at M&T Bank Exchange in Baltimore, Maryland. Effie being a literal Broadway baby always feels at home in a theatre and wanted her wedding to Bryant to be in that sacred space. This eclectic and wholly unique wedding was inspired by our colorful couple. Most people insist on a specific color or vibe for the day - not Effie and Bryant. Their only requirements were: surf rock, skeeball and SO much coffee. Ideally those elements would all come together in an explosion of color in the Hippodrome's new Exchange space.

We transformed this space bringing skee ball from the boardwalk to the ballroom with an incredible floral installation from Ritual Floral Studio. Think black tie, but with every color. Rudney Novaes captured the day in its perfect light for us all to relive again and again— such a gift!

The stars aligned on their seating chart as we created 3 of their favorite constellations from their guest names. This one was out of this world.. They enjoyed a meal from Copper Kitchen, while enjoying music from The Flying Faders. We intentionally brought in rental pieces from Something Vintage, BBJ La Tavola, Nuage Designs, and Cloth Connection to  completely overhaul this space with beauty, color, and interest. From printed linens to scalloped plates, glowing skeeball machines from SNAP Entertainment and custom paper goods from Social on Weekends, this design and color palette was a dream come true.

As the night went on, guests enjoyed coffee from Park and Perk Mobile Cafe as they mingled, took advantage of the photo booth from Majestic Photobooth, played games, and explored the space. Thoroughbred provided the getaway transportation as the night concluded and the magic left the space. This is a design we'll be revisiting in our minds and through photos for years to come— a unique and euphoric night!
