Before their big European destination wedding, Katrina and Web quietly exchanged vows in front of their families at Extra Fancy in Washington D.C. They picked a date and, by pure luck, landed right at the start of cherry blossom season which is truly when their hometown is in its prime.
Iconic blooms set the tone, and we used the blossom beauty of these iconic pink branches as the basis for our entire design. Katrina wore a Lela Rose dress with an iconic bow trailing behind her with the most stunning texture.
Pomona Floral exceeded all expectations with this flower assignment, providing lush and abundant floral pieces to adorn the space with. The reception space was designed with intimate intention and pops of color. We pulled pieces from Select Event Group and BBJ La Tavola to enhance the already stunning venue. Every Little Something dreamed up the most perfect paper details for the day, creating a stunning invitation suite and matching oval place cards.
Katrina's green Prada purse was a crowd-pleaser, making its way around the space and in many photos. Nikki Daskalakis documented the day perfectly, highlighting every important moment and intricate detail. Extra Fancy Catering turned a seven-course meal into masterpiece—flirty, floral, and full of flavor. Small in size, huge in heart. Katrina and Web’s DC elopement was the sweetest kickoff to their next adventure - life together.
